Twin Peaks - "Stand In The Sand"

After guiding The Orwells away from high school fandom in the Chicago suburbs and into a deservedly buzz-drawing national touring act, the Aquarium Drunkard's Los Angeles-based imprint Autumn Tone Records all of the sudden seems like the premiere planting ground for raucous and grimy garage-rock up-and-comers. Next up is David Lynch fans Twin Peaks: another obscenely young group of Chicago punks that exhale bong smoke and spit fire, brimstone, and wickedly enjoyable fits of manically-paced rock 'n' roll. Peep "Stand In The Sand," a just over two-minute long hurricane-caliber force of teenage rebellion that elevates the everyday utterance "oh yeah" into swampy and soulful gold.
