Bethany Cosentino of Best Coast recently made a mixtape for the UK's Independent. One of the great pulls is Josie Cotton's "Johnny, Are You Queer?" which was used in the very early Nichols Cage film Valley Girl—a 1980s punk rocker meets privileged rich girl tale that also featured the anthemic track "Melt With You" by Modern English.
