It's simple strummy rock 'n' roll, but Eternal Summers make it damn near impossible to resist: from those sticky melodies guided by Nicole Yun's dreamy and assertive vocals to the snappy foot-tapping tornados of rhythm, the band's music plays to both the feverishly uptempo and thoughtful and contemplative sides of pop. Eternal Summers' latest, The Dawn Of Eternal Summers, is a collection of some of the band's earliest material ("Able To," "Lightswitch," and "Fall Straight Back" are still some of the group's strongest jams to date) as well as a handful of covers, including the previously released take on Guided By Voices' classic "Salty Salute" and "Into Your Arms," a song originally recorded by Love Positions and later popularized by The Lemonheads. Check out the latter's sentimental 90s goodness below.
